WomenCARE stands for Women’s Cancer Advocacy, Resources, and Education. This incredible organization helps women with varying kinds of cancer to cope with their diagnosis and treatment by providing many services such as free support groups, healing workshops, and a resource library. I became involved with WomenCARE’s annual bowl-a-thon 7 years ago when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through her, I learned how invaluable this organization is to so many women and their families.
